Black Spur Mountain Range

The Black Spur (35km)

Just 90 minutes from Melbourne, the Black spur drive brings you to our wonderful caravan park through giant mountain ash and gorgeous tree ferns. You have to drive it to understand its sheer volume and beauty.

 Healesville (20km) 

Best known for its Sanctuary, Healesville Sanctuary features Australia's largest collection of birds, mammals and reptiles, and is a must see for kids, overseas visitors or just everybody really - its great.  Other features are Hedgend maze, Maroondah Reservoir, large selection of specialty shops, the historic Grand Hotel, and a modern shopping complex to name a few.

Lake Mountain (25km)

Popular location for cross country skiing and general fun in the snow such as tobogganing.  With close proximity to Melbourne this is the closest resort to show the kids or tempt your skiing skills.  As a summer location, the abundance of wildflowers tell there own tale.

Marysville / Narbethong

Marysville and Narbethong have been devastated by bushfires, we hope the townships will be rebuilt to be wonderful locations once again over the next few years.  In the meantime, there is natures gifts, from Steavenson Falls to Lady Talbot Drive, wonderful Beeches rainforest or the Culvert at Cambarville, Please check the Parks Victoria website www.parkweb.vic.gov.au – or telephone 13 19 63 for updates on park closures
